Doctor Who?
My thoughts after the first watch:
As this is seems to be happening, no matter if we like it or not we should call him anything but “9th Doctor”
- 8.5 Doctor
- No-Doctor/Not Doctor
- The Promisbreaker
- a name that Moffat has, hopefully, already thought up, but will not reveal because: “mystery”
Most important bits being:
We do not rename Nine - Eleven, just because Moffat has decided he has not fuck enough with the “Julie and Russel”-era.
- I somehow get the impression Moffat is like a dog pissing on other peoples work, to mark his territory (What with rewritting the whole universe in “The Big Bang” and so on and now this.)
Surprisingly, I am still willing to give this “plot twist” a chance, but :
- NO renaming and
- NO “one less regeneration, than we all (the fans) have counted on since 2005
RTD making 10 regenerate without changing is already a grey area, I admitt, but that would make 11 into 12, at best, and 13, at worst (people who watched the “Sixth“‘s era, already saw 13’s face, did they not?
Another thing: the Doctor’s entire timeline - why did clara only see 11/12 faces?
